New machine alert!
Today we got our new plate loaded isolateral shoulder press, flat chest press and wall mounted lateral raise an they are already proving very popular.
Isolateral movements are important to help with muscle imbalances and injuries. Did you know that if you have an injury on one side and can't train it properly, studies have shown that training the healthy side will still stimulate some neurological pathways across to the injured side. I recently did this whilst my right shoulder was injured and although there was an element of muscle atrophy due to not being physically, I certainly didn't lose as much size as I thought.
If you need any assistance with the new machines please ask but we will be doing a quick video later this evening to demonstrate them all.
The shoulder press feels VERY nice, definitely my favourite of the 3.
