Want to make the half squat more challenging?
Add bands!
It feels great and adds extra tension at the top of the movement so is ideal when you can't put any more weight on the arms. It also helps you to get a strong drive out of the bottom where it's lighter. Try it without holding on for an even harder movement .
The video is from last week, we did 4 volume sets after intensity leg press (rest pause), so were already knackered going into it as we'd also done extra work on leg extension and leg curl at the start of the session.
As uncomfortable as it may be....constantly challenge yourself to keep making improvements.
